Ultimate Diorama Masterline Rebuild of Evangelion The 4th Angel (Concept By Josh Nizzi)

The Fourth Angel, which heralded the beginning of the “Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition” series, is now joining Prime 1 Studio’s “Ultimate Diorama Masterline” series, based on an idea by conceptual artist Josh Nizzi! Three years ago, Prime 1 Studio released a diorama featuring EVA Unit-01 in collaboration with talented artists, and this new spin-off work inherits the design concept of that figure. While the previous work focused on the details and power of Unit-01, the theme of this new work is the threat of the Fourth Angel; the fear and pain that robbed the Third Boy of his sanity are embodied in its cruel silhouette.

The white outer shell parts are engraved with minute holes and uneven coloring reminiscent of oxidation, with an unsettling bonelike appearance. The black body surface has a unique pattern like muscles without skin, and the Angel’s red-black core seals in the brilliant glow of life. The colors and shapes of each part are arranged to highlight their vividness without compromising the full impression; the second face, which is half-destroyed to reveal muscle fibers, features a built-in LED light-up gimmick in its eyes! The special jet-black base is also constructed with hexagons that symbolize the AT Field and NERV Headquarters, evoking the relationship between humanity and the Angels.
