From Takara’s red-hot Japan-release Transformers Armada line comes Standard Convoy (known as Optimus Prime in his Hasbro release on the other side of the ocean), leader of the Cybertrons! This charismatic truck cab transforms to a robot with double-fisted punching action and can strike significant poses galore, thanks to a generous helping of ball joints. Mini-Con figure Surge (a.k.a. Overrun) is included to help out the big guy. Surge himself has three transformation modes: robot, gun, and plane. Packaged in a colorful all-Japanese window box, Standard Convoy also comes with a character card. Great stuff!
