This is a completed action toy designed for collectors.

A very highly detailed, fully finished soft vinyl figure of that wacky “triphibian” monster, Gappa! This is papa Gappa, from the 1967 Nikkatsu monster flick titled in English either “Gappa the Triphibian Monster” or “Monster from a Prehistoric Planet” (the original Japanese title simply translates as “Great Giant Beast Gappa”). Includes interchangeable folded or extended wings, and interchangeable lower jaw pieces to show him with his mouth open or closed. The folks at X Plus also wanted to include a big octopus for Gappa to munch on, but alas, that was mama Gappa that does that in the film! So, no octopus for papa Gappa…perhaps mama and Gappa Junior are coming soon? Here’s hoping!
