This massive figure of EVA Unit-01, 88cm tall measured to the top of its shoulder armor, was sculpted by Shinobu Matsamura, a world-renowned sculptor of animals. He originally sculpted this figure at a much smaller size (30cm) back in the late 1990s, and now it’s been enlarged and brushed up by Matsamura himself to result in this spectacular presentation!

Kaiyodo has incorporated 3D printing into its production process for this impressive figure, resulting in a delicacy and depth of detail that will amaze you. All 3D-printed parts have been UV coated to protect them. Also note that, in spite of its sheer size, this figure’s base is compact so it can be displayed without taking up too much room.
