This is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item.

Originally released in 1957 by Revell with the brave words “Enter the age of space!”, the Moon Ship is back thanks to Atlantis Models! Designed by rocket engineer Erwin E. Angle, the manned module of the kit comes with a stand instead of a rocket booster; it was sold in addition to this kit. The design of this ship is the classical “wings attached to a bullet” type, like many 1930s and 1940s spacecraft designs; it was assumed that on its return to Earth, the spacecraft would re-enter the atmosphere and glide horizontally before landing — much the same concept as the later Space Shuttle. The landing sled can be built as seen stored in the fuselage; the panels above the cabin are removable so you can admire the detailed interior of the cabin. Three crew figures are included, as is a base with a lunar motif. Order this blast from the past for your own collection now!
