This is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item.

Aoshima’s re-release of the old Halcyon kit of the Narcissus (Ripley’s escape pod in Alien, and also seen in Aliens when picked up as potential salvage) is well-detailed in 1/144 scale (the cockpit isn’t so great, but what can you see through tinted windows anyway?).Nice decals are included for external markings.
